About Western Energy Savers
What can I do to help the environment? That question is how Western Energy Savers
began.
Steve and I are not your typical environmentalists but we should be! If we all do our part and
help lower gas house emissions, recycle and are generally energy conscious we can all be
part of the solution. This started about a year ago when we looked at adding solar panels to
our home to lower our energy consumption and energy bills, the cost of solar was enormous
and the payback is 15-20 years. It seemed silly to take a second mortgage out to save money
so we kept looking at other options.
We found the Low-E reflective insulation and believe we found a great fit. We could (and did)
retro-fit our attic ourselves, the cost was very reasonable and the payback in comfort and
financial was immediate! It makes so much sense to reflect the sun's rays out of the attic and
not have to cool all the extra BTU's that traditional insulation absorbs.
